Susan Garduno

I’ve been involved with FIRST since 2007 when my son was on team 2486, the CocoNuts from Flagstaff. I was a FIRST Volunteer In Service To America (VISTA) from 2015 through 2020 where I later became the first in the program to be a 5-year VISTA, a position normally held for a three-year term. Late 2020, I became the Arizona FIRST Senior Mentor, supporting all FIRST teams in Arizona. Sustainability, recruitment, fundraising strategies and being the Volunteer Coordinator for all three programs in the state are my biggest responsibilities.

Four kids, two dogs and a boat; water is my happy place.
