Arizona Robotics League

The Arizona Robotics League (ARL) is an initiative started by FRC Team 498 in collaboration with the Arizona Diamondbacks®️ and Honeywell®️ that encompasses FIRST®️ Robotics Competition values. The program mission is to provide additional opportunities for Arizona FIRST®️ Robotics Competition Teams to compete and connect with one another, to increase awareness in our community, inspire collaboration, and foster better competition within the Arizona Region.

ARL is a free off-season FIRST®️ Robotics Competition where teams can come and compete with their current-season robot or with robots from previous seasons as alternate teams. After each qualifier tournament, teams gain Championship points based on their performance to rank up in the leaderboard. Teams must attend a minimum of two qualifying tournaments to gain Championship points to qualify for the Championship tournament. At the Championship, teams face off in one final double-elimination bracket.

In an effort to bring Arizona FIRST teams together, ARL has created a community Discord server managed by Team 498 that will provide live ARL updates along with opportunities to interact with members of other Arizona FIRST®️ teams.
